In recent weeks, as part of the firm’s overall strategic development programme, IRG has appointed a new Head of Commercial Real Estate as well as recruiting an exceptionally qualified new commercial associate. Commercial sales and leasing associate, Trisha Johnson, has taken over as the head of the firm’s specialist commercial property division. As one of IRG’s longest-standing team members, Trisha will be a familiar face to anyone who has driven around central George Town and seen her signage on one of the many buildings that she has managed throughout her time with IRG. Trisha, a Caymanian, joined the firm in 2009 as a Junior Sales and Leasing Associate and has worked her way through the ranks, building her practice area and establishing an impressive reputation within the local real estate market. She has advised on multi-million-dollar asset sales and acquisitions and continues to provide property management, sales, leasing and fit-out services for many of Grand Cayman’s landmark commercial buildings. “I am delighted to announce Trisha’s appointment as the Head of our Commercial Property division. We are extremely proud of the journey that Trisha has taken during her time with IRG. It is such a pleasure to see young Caymanians flourish in their vocations and achieve so much success. We look forward to the experience and expertise that Trisha will bring to her new role.” - commented Jeremy Hurst, Broker/Owner of IRG – International Realty Group. In a move that further reinforces IRG’s leading role in Cayman’s commercial real estate market, the firm has recruited a new commercial associate, Andrew Gilbert MRICS. Andrew is an RICS accredited chartered surveyor who has relocated to Cayman from London. He previously worked for two of the city’s powerhouse commercial and residential real estate firms, Knight Frank and Cushman Wakefield. During his time in London, Andrew gained a wealth of experience in the commercial leasing, valuation and investment markets and has worked on landmark assets such as Harrods, Harvey Nichols and Coutts HQ. As an RICS chartered surveyor and qualified CFA ESG advisor, Andrew will allow IRG Commercial to further expand its range of services to include asset valuation and advice regarding sustainable investments. Andrew will initially be advising and assisting IRG's clients and customers with their commercial leasing requirements. Discussing the recent appointment, Trisha Johnson added, “Andrew is an outstanding addition to IRG’s commercial division. The experience he brings to the team from his time in London, advising clients on a range of high-profile projects, will further reinforce IRG as Cayman’s preeminent commercial real estate service provider. His specialist expertise in sustainable investment will provide a valuable tool of advice for clients and investors in our constantly evolving market.”
